Brune H. Meints dies at the age of 74
PICKRELL- Brune Heye Meints, 74, died suddenly at his home east of Pickrell Tuesday afternoon. He was born on a farm east of Pickrell June 26, 1887, and had lived here all of his life.
Mr. Meints was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, east of Pickrell.
Two sons preceded him in death.
Surviving are his widow, Rosie, two daughters, Mrs. Fred Evers, Beatrice, and Mrs. Lorraine Remmers, Orange, Calif.; four sons, Raymond and Elmer of the home, Harvey of Cortland and Ervin of Filley; one brother, Heye Meints, Pickrell; one sister, Mrs. C. M. Sandersfeld, Beatrice; 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Family prayer services will be held Friday at 1:15 p. m. from the Griffiths-Fox Chapel with further services from the Zion Lutheran Church, Pickrell, at 2 p. m. The Rev. Richard Fruehling will officiate. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Griffiths-Fox Chapel, Beatrice, in charge.
A memorial has been established to the Martin Luther Home and “The Voice of St. John” with Albert Schuster and George Wolken in charge.
