Services for Michael Aaron Hughes, Jr. age 13, of Palestine will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday at Bailey & Foster Chapel with Donald Stephens officiating.
Burial will follow in Roselawn Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home, Palestine.
Michael passed away Thursday at his residence. He was born July 7, 1998 in Palestine to Michael Aaron Hughes and Espy Martinez Ray.
He is survived by his father and step-mother Michael and Sally Hughes of Palestine, mother and step-father Espy Ray and Damon Ray of Palestine, grandparents Barbara Hughes and Larry Martin, Shannon and Toby Johnson, George and Dianna Martinez, Marshall Weeks, and great grandmother Lois McFarland, sisters Haleigh Hughes, LiLiana Martinez and Kiana Rodriguez all of Palestine, and a brother Jordan Alford of Longview.
The family would like to thank care team in pediatrics and a special thank you to Sandra Sheperd and Bridget Holley for the care given to Michael.
Pallbearers will be Brian Patel, Clay Pierce, Clay Churchman, Devin Hassell, Moose Hughes and Bobby Wells.
