POPLARVILLE — Funeral services were held Monday, January 31, 2011 at White Funeral Home in Poplarville for Herbert Alexander, Jr., 70, of Poplarville, who passed away January 27, 2011 at the VA Medical Center in Biloxi, Miss.
A native of Poplarville, Mr. Alexander was born May 29, 1940 to Herbert and Nora Dell Bazor Alexander. He was a retired U.S. Air Force Veteran Flight Engineer and Mechanic.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: three brothers, Norman Ray Alexander, Donald Joseph Alexander, and James Wesley Alexander; and one sister, Marilyn Elaine Phillips.
Survivors include: his wife Joyce Alexander; three daughters, Mary Alice Alexander, Marsha L. Howard, all of Poplarville, and Susan Johnson of Carriere; two sisters, Mary Jane Johnson of Poplarville, and Martha Ann Morgan of Mobile, Ala; 15 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and two step-daughters, Anita Raziano and Sabrina Magee, both of Poplarville.
Visitation was held prior to the services at White Funeral Home.
White Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
