March 29. 1888, she was united In marriage to W. E. Sholty of Windfall. This splendid couple had been lifelong residents of this community with the exception of a short period spent In Tipton. In 1938 they, celebrated their golden wedding anniversary. Three children were born to this union, George at the parental home, James of Montpelier, and a daughter, Kate, who died while small.
