Kimberly Childres Wilcox, 46 of Ridgeland, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2011 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm, on Monday, August 1, 2011 at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Mendenhall. Burial will be in White Sand Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Kim was a member of Broadmoor Baptist Church. She was a happy and spiritual person who enjoyed life.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Michelle Childres Tew.

Kim is survived by her daughter,Alexis Dukes, Madison; mother, Ann Carol Childres, Magee; father, Jimmy Childres, Terry; brother, Dax Childres, Braxton; grand-daughters, Layla and Sophie Dukes; niece, Crystal Tew and nephews, Dax and Justin Walsh.

Pallbearers are John-Austin Dukes, Marty Martin, Dax Walsh, Justin Walsh, Stephen Schneider and Frank Schneider.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association at 4830 McWillie Cir Jackson MS 39206-5024.
