Mrs. Barbara Jane Haile, 87, of Christian Health Center and formerly of North Drive, Hopkinsville, died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2008, at 1:50 p.m. at Christian Health Center of natural causes.
Born Nov. 9, 1920, in Hopkins County, a daughter of the late Harvey Lawrence and Ida Barbara Croft Thomas, she was retired from Thomas Industries and was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alton N. Haile in 1987; and a daughter, Sherry Cowan in 2000.
Survivors include a daughter, Marie Hancock of Hopkinsville; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday Feb. 12, at 11 a.m. at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home in Hopkinsville.
The Rev. Greg Giltner officiated the service.
Burial followed in Cross Roads Christian Church Cemetery
