STEVENS, ROBERT P. - 3268 Clark Rd. - Age 39, died Saturday Dec. 10, 3966 at a local hospital. A resident of Lansing for the past 15 years coming from Detroit. Mr. Stevens was a veteran of World War II serving with the U.S. Army. He was a member of St Therese Church and Loyal Order of Moose No. 288, employed by the Lansing Tool & Die Co. Surviving are; the wife, Blanche; 2 sons, Frank and Robert; 3 daughters, Ramona, Cathy, Sharon, all at home; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Perry Stevens, Essexville; 2 brothers, Perry William, Joseph Stevens, both of Essexville; 8 sisters, Mrs. Deloris Vert, Detroit, Mrs. Sylvia Sullivan, Waterford, Mrs. Nina Stella, Mrs. Marion Rutterbush, Mrs. Lois Marshall, all of Detroit, Miss Mary Lou Stevens, Miss Geneva Stevens, Miss Diane Stevens, all of Essexville. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. Therese Church. Fr. William Koenigsknecht officiating. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery. Rosary will be recited at the Palmer-Bush Funeral Home Monday at 8 p.m. Pallbearers will be: Jim Johns, Doug Johns, Jim Bonini, Jay Eby, Victor Lozen, Bill Ide.

Funeral Set For Victim Of Accident - Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Therese Church for Robert P. Stevens, 39, of 3268 Clark Road, DeWitt, the victim of a weekend traffic accident. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. The rosary will be said at 8 p.m. tonight at Palmer-Bush Funeral Home. Mr. Stevens died Saturday at a local hospital from burns suffered earlier in the day when his car burst into flames after it was struck in the rear by a second car in the 2200 block of S. Pennsylvania Avenue. Mr. Stevens, an army veteran of World War II, was employed by Lansing Tool & Die Co. and was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, Lodge No. 288, He is survived by his wife, Blanche; two sons, Frank and Robert, and three daughters, Ramona, Cathy and Sharon, all at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Perry Stevens of Essexville; two brothers, Perry and Joseph both of Essexville; and eight sisters, Mrs. Sylvia Sullivan of Waterford, Mrs. Deloris Vert, Mrs. Nina Stella, Mrs. Marion Rutterbush and Mrs. Lois Marshall, all of Detroit, and the Misses Mary Lou, Geneva and Diane Stevens, all of Essexville.
