Last rites for Mrs. B. W. Lowry were held yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock at Harper's Ferry church, following her death of a stroke Sunday afternoon.
Mrs. Lowry, a resident of Pembroke, died while on a visit at Carver's Creek in Bladen County.
Officiating at the services was Rev. L. W. Jacobs, assisted by Rev. Tommy Swett and Rev. J. R. Lowry.
Pallbearers were Dorsey Locklear, Juddy Revels, Seavie Lowry, John Sampson, Claudie Locklear, and Walter Sanderson.
Flower girls were Bernice Blue, Edith Jacobs, Audry Jacobs, Vivian Lowry, Colorine Thompson, Mary Martin, Ruthie Neal Sanderson, Dora Marie Jacobs, Gladys Chavis, Locky Lowry, Hannah Chavis, Mary Paul.
