His son Garry V., and other members of his family became meantime interested in the settlement and building up of a new village, now called Seneca Falls, ten miles to the westward of the Sacket homestead at Aurelius. In 1832 William Sacket removed to the new village, where he had purchased a comfortable cottage, in which he spent his remaining years.
