Holly was born Sept. 22, 1956, the daughter of Gene and Isabel Henderson. She graduated from Effingham High School and received her bachelor of science degree from Millikin University and her master's degree in counseling from Eastern Illinois University. She had been a guidance counselor at St. Anthony High School and Dieterich High School and a teacher at Salem and Farina schools.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Hope Circle and Chapter NF of PEO.

Surviving are her husband, Phil, owner of Nosbisch Nursery; parents; children, Nina, Nick and Amy; brothers, Robert and wife Josie of Drexel Hill, Pa.; Tom and wife Lana of Effingham; sisters, Lucy Stark and husband Dick of Charleston; Judy Beck and husband Mike of Effingham; many nieces and nephews.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday in First Presbyterian Church, Effingham. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Johnson Funeral Home, Effingham, and one hour before services in the church.

Burial will be in Oakridge Cemetery, Effingham.
