US Congressman. A graduate of St. Joseph's Commercial College, he was employed in the Detroit office of the Secretary of State of Michigan in 1927 and 1928 and was a member of the Wayne County's Board of Auditors from 1928 through 1935. Elected on the Republican ticket, he represented Michigan in the US House of Representative from January 3, 1947 through January 3, 1949. He was appointed the Director of Foreign Operations Administration in the Berlin area in 1954 and 1955, afterward engaging in construction contracting, a profession he had initially entered in 1940. He was a resident of Arizona at the time of his death.
