Mr. Newsom was born January 27, 1933, in Rayville, LA, and passed away Saturday, July 30, 2011, in Rayville, LA.
Troy is preceded in death by his parents, A.J. and Ethel Newsom; sisters, Jennell Tagglia, Demmer Cheek and Betty Jo Newsom Stewart.
Survivors include his special nieces, Anita Jolly and husband, Chris of Calhoun, Dena Faye Cheek of Highlands, TX, Mary Ann Cowley and husband, Wayne of Highlands, TX, JoAnn Chrisley of Crosby, TX; special nephews, Darren Wynn and wife, Donna of Winnsboro, Ray Riley and wife, Linda of Waskom, TX; brother, Charlie Newsom and wife, Jane of Highlands, TX; numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
Pallbearers are Andy Smith, Landon Smith, Lawrence Wynn, Tony Riley, A.J. Riley, and Chris Jolly.
Honorary Pallbearers are Clayton Hopper and Michael Taylor.
