Robert James "Tony" Baine, age 81, died July 28, 2011 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. He was born July 1, 1930 in Joplin, Missouri to John A. and Grace Underhill Baine who preceded him in death.
Tony served in the U. S. Army and was a convenience store owner, a member of the Knights of Columbus and an avid Union High School and OSU football fan.
In addition to his parents Tony was preceded in death by four brothers, a sister, a grandson, granddaughter, and son-in-law.
Tony is survived by his wife of 61 years, children; sons-in-law; seventeen grandchildren; three great-granddaughters and a host of nieces and nephews.
Tony loved his wife and family. He loved his pets Maggie, Derek and Jake.
The family request Memorials may be made to Spencer McIllwain Foundation benefiting Special Olympics and St. Bernard's Habitat for Humanity at NBC, P.O. Box 702798, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74170, attention: Debbie Webb. Visitation will be Monday, August 1, 2011 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. both at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at St. Anne Catholic Church in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel. (MillieBelle)
