Mrs. Ross was born at Frohna, Mo., Jan 22, 1870, and thirty-four years ago was married at the same place to J. G. F. Ross, moving to Jacob in 1914 where she has since made her home.
Mrs. Ross possessed a cheery disposition and made many friends, all of whom loved her. She was a very faithfulmember and ardent worker in the Emmanuel Lutheran church at Neunert.
Besides her husband she is survived by three children: Paul, Edwin and Mrs. John Gruebmeyer of Jacob, two grandchildren, Ralph Gruebmeyer and Lorraine Ross of Jacob; five brothers, Martin Bronenkant, Brazean, Mo., Ernest Bronnenkant, St. Louis, Frd Bronnenkaat, Terra Haute, Ind., Paul Bronnenkant, Los Angeles, Calif., and three sisters, Mrs. Gustav Brandes, Jacob, Miss Martha Bronenkant, Jacob, and Mrs. Fred Grasse of St. Louis.
The body was consigned to the home at Jacob from St. Louis, Sunday, and will lie enstate there until services are conducted Tuesday afternoon at one o'clock at the residence. From there the body will be taken to the Emmanuel Lutheran Church where further services will be conducted by Rev. Strothman. Interement [sic] in the Lutheran cemetery.
