She was born Jan. 24, 1898, at Thurber, Utah, the daughter of Joseph Eslem and Mariah Lucinda Heath Mangum. When she was very young the family moved to Price and it was there and in Bicknell that she received her education.
She was married to William Henry Mangum and they lived at Circleville and Bicknell for several years, moving to Blackfoot in 1926 and later to Woodville. This union was terminated. In 1934 Mrs. Mangum and her family moved to Idaho Falls and she was married to Albert Quinton June 3, 1936. They have lived in Idaho Falls since that time.
Mrs. Quinton was active in the LDS Church.
Surviving besides her husband are sons and daughters including Mrs. Richard (Gwen) Cauughie and Mrs. Floyd (Lena) Nelson, both of Idaho Falls; Mrs. Elmer (Gladys) Browning, Rigby; George Mangum of Blackfoot; Lester Mangum of Redding, Calif., and Garth Mangum of San Francisco, Calif. 45
grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
Step children surviving include Mrs. L.B. (Zonda) Paulsen, Lewisville; Mrs. Frank Orner, Idaho Falls; Mrs. Jess (Idalla) Wilson, Newburg, Ore.; Laurell and Darrell Quinton, also of Newburg.
Brothers and sisters who survive George and Ammon Mangum, both of Price; Benjamin Mangum, Salt Lake City; Marve Mangum, Salina; Mrs. Tamos Christensen and Mrs. Samantha Baker, both of Bicknell.
One son, Howard, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1 pm in the 13th LDS Ward Church with Bishop George L. Jensen officiating. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home from 7 until 9 pm.
Internment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
