was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on July 25, 1929 the son of the late Pascal and Jullie Griffin Harville.

He was united in marriage to Lena Ann Doyle, who preceded him in death on February 21, 2011.

Mr. Harville retired from Hassel Lumber Company.

He departed this life on Friday, July 22, 2011 at the age of 81 years, 11 months, 27 days.

He is survived by 2 daughters, Carolyn Pinson of Savannah, Tennessee and Sherry Holcombe of Waterloo, Alabama; 2 sons, Frank Harville and Roy Harville both of Savannah, Tennessee; 2 stepdaughters, Mary A. Burns and Lena M. Shelby both of Savannah, Tennessee; 2 stepsons, Jhonny W. Mancell and Jimmy L. Mancell both of Savannah, Tennessee; a brother, Barney Harville Clifton, Tennessee; 3 sisters, Lucille Duckworth of Savannah, Tennessee, Bernice Wilkerson of Walnut Grove, Tennessee and Gladys Bass of Georgia; 16 grandchildren, 29 step grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 49 step great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren and 11 step great great grandchildren.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Larry D. Harville; a stepdaughter, Leslie Chapman Mancell; 2 stepsons, Floyd Junior Mancell and Frank Mancell; 6 brothers, John Harville, Willard Harville, Tommy Harville, Dave Harville, D.P. Harville and Ike Harville.
