Kezia (Stearns) Alverson was the daughter of Dr. Joel and Sarah (Hayden) Stearns. She was the 2nd wife of Rev. John Brandt Alverson. They were married in 1824. Rev. Alverson was a minister in the Genesee Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church. He died April 21, 1850.
