Andrew Jackson "Andy" Couch
Funeral services for Andrew Jackson (Andy) Couch, age 88 of McKinney, Texas, will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday; April 27 in West Oaks Funeral Chapel with Reverend Robert Lee Shugart officiating.
Interment will be in the Posey Cemetery. Visitation were from 6-8 PM Saturday at West Oaks Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be: Frankie Allen, Chuck Henisey, Justin Heirtz, Rocky Henisey, David Stinson and Donie Hall.
Mr. Couch died at 2:28 PM Thursday in North Central Texas Medical Center, McKinney, Texas.
He was born in the Posey Community of Hopkins County on September 4, 1914, the son of William Henry and Lola Lee Campbell Couch. He was a former longtime resident of Dallas, having been employed as New construction Foreman for the City of Dallas Water Department. He has resided in McKinney for the past five years. He was a member of the Skillman Avenue Church of Christ in Dallas. He served with the U.S. Army in World War II from 1942-1945.
He married Grace Alene Allen in Sulphur Springs, Texas on March 5, 1944. She survives.
Other survivors: Two Daughters, Angie Henisey of Wylie, Texas, Brenda Heintz of McKinney, Texas; One Brother: Clyde Couch of Dallas, Texas; Three Grandchildren : Chuck Andrew Henisey, Justin Heintz and Rocky Todd Henisey. Two great-grandchildren, Spencer Andrew Henisey, Payton Nicole Henisey.
He was preceded in death by his parents and by a brother W.H. Couch.
