WALKER, Calvin Wesley, 91, of Powhatan Point, Ohio died May 20, 2010.

He was born May 12, 1919 in Grayson, Ky., a son of the late Harry Wilbur and Elizabeth (Betty) Adams Walker.

Calvin was a Christian by faith, a member of the Sportsman Club, and the Boiler Makers Lodge. He was a WWII Veteran and an avid hunter and. fisherman. He enjoyed wood making, clocks, and gun cabinets.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother; Edgar Walker, and three sisters; Arleen Crawford, Shirley Magart, and Edna Maxine, who died at birth.

Surviving is his wife, Vivian Walker of Powhatan Point, Ohio; a son, Carl Wesley (Janet) Walker, of Grayson, Ky.; two brothers, Wilbur (Pauline) Walker and Leondas (Helen) Walker; two grandchildren, Ricky (Mona) Walker and Rocky (Sabrina) Walker; two great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received Monday May 24 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home and Crematory 186 Main St. Powhatan Point, OH, where services will be held Tuesday May 25 at l p.m., with Evangelist Paul Marty and Rev. Bob Goebel officiating

Burial will. follow in Armstrong Mills Cemetery, Armstrong Mills, Ohio.
