ELLA FRANCES STEARMAN
Ella Frances Stearman was born Oct. 1, 1864, departed this life Sept. 7, 1942, making her 76 years, 11 months and 23 days old.
She was married to Edward M. Stearman, Sept. 14, 1882. To this union was born the following children: Edna Coakley of Coakley Ky., Ada Sweeney of Summersville, Ky, Lewis Stearman of Coakley, Ky, and a foster daughter, Nina Burton Price, Summersville, Ky. She was preceded in death by her husband near nine months ago.
She professed faith in Christ early in life and united with the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, to which she remained a true, faithful, and loyal member until death. She leaves to mourn her passing the three children, five grandchildren, one brother, a number of nephews and nieces, and a host of friends.
During her illness she often spoke of the beautiful home over there and longed to be at home with Jesus.
Funeral services were conducted at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church Tuesday, Sept. 8th by Rev. D. L. Druin. Pallbearers were Lloyd Ward, Virgil Stearman, Foster Stearman, George Money, Sam Reeves, and Jim Money.
Flower girls were Mrs. Wesley Akins, Anna Despain, Mrs. Will Stearman, Viola Money, Lula Underwood, Annie Field, Josephine Price, Commie Money, Lena Ward.
