Megan Berger, 18, Bismarck, died July 27, 2011, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, August 3, 2011, at Spirit of Life Catholic Church, Mandan. Burial will be in Mandan Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 2nd at the Bismarck Funeral Home from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Parish rosary/vigil will begin at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Megan Marie was born on July 13, 1993, in Bismarck to Tammy Stoltz and Delwyn Berger. Megan graduated from high school this past summer and was employed at north Bismarck McDonald's where she enjoyed working. Megan loved visiting with people and always had a beautiful and a very contagious smile for each person she met. You always knew when Megan entered the room. Her smile, voice and energy were her trademark. She had a zest for life and in her short life she had lived life to the fullest. Megan was a deeply caring person and very loyal to family and friends. Megan loved to read and was hoping to become a nurse. She enjoyed camping and boating with her aunts and uncles. She will be remembered for her beautiful spirit and contagious laugh. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.
She is survived by her Mother: Tammy Stoltz; brothers: Dylan Berger and Waylon Stoltz; grandmother: Janice Buckmiller, Mandan; grandparents: William and Beatrice Berger, Mandan; and great grandmother: Pauline Fleck, Mandan. She will be missed by many aunts, uncles and cousins who loved her so very much.
She was preceded in death by her father, Delwyn Berger whom she will be joining in heaven, along with grandfather, Carl Buckmiller, aunt Connie and uncle Durwin Berger, uncle Tim Rohr and her great grandparents.
