Mrs. Ruth Hobby, 79, of Princeton, died Friday, Nov. 14, 2008, at 9 p.m.at Princeton Health and Rehab Center.
A retired school cafeteria worker and member of Union Grove Baptist Church, she was born Nov. 19, 1928, in Hopkins County, a daughter of the late James Louis and Ruby Marie Phillips Miller.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.W. Hobby.
Survivors include two daughters, Phyllis Griffin and Mary Blick, both of Princeton; three grandchildren, Ricky Warfield, Todd Griffin, and Chris Griffin; and five greatgrandchildren, Haley Griffin, Emily Griffin, Brandon Warfield, Cameron Warfield and Avery Warfield.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Nov. 18, at 1 p.m. at Morgan's Funeral Home in Princeton. The Rev, Roger Felker officiated the service, assisted by the Rev, Don Hearrin.
Burial followed in Liberty Cemetery in Caldwell County.
