Her mother, a stage actress, took the family to Hollywood where she appeared in bit roles in a number of movies before introducing her children to the screen as well. Her youngest, Helen Parrish, made her screen debut in 1927 at the age of five, while that same year, elder brother Robert, bowed in the short 'Olympic Games' featuring the Our Gang kids. Beverly followed suit, making her screen debut in the Our Gang short, 'A Tough Winter,' in 1930. She died suddenly at the age of ten with only the one credit to her filmography.
