TRACY—BITHERS.—At the residence of the bride's brother, Mr. I. U. White, on Wednesday, Jan. 11th, 1888, by Judge Fleming, Mr. W. S. Tracy, of Gull River, and Mrs. May E. Bithers, of Brainerd.
The ceremony was performed about 12 o'clock, at which about twenty intimate friends and relatives of the contracting parties were present. After the ceremony the assembled guests partook of an elegant dinner that had been prepared for the occasion. The happy couple left for Gull River on the afternoon train where they will go to housekeeping at once. The groom is an employee of the Gull River Lumber company, having charge of the company's harness shop. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed White, Sr., and has been a resident of this city for many years. The Dispatch extends congratulations and best wishes.                MRS. W. S. TRACY DEAD

Popular Lady Succumbs this Morning Af-
        ter Severe Attack of Pneumonia
                   and Heart Disease.

Mrs. W. S. Tracy, of this city, died this morning after a severe illness with pneumonia. Mrs. Tracy has been in poor health for many years and although the attending physicians were able to break up the pneumonia her strength was not sufficient to rally and the end came today.
Mrs. Tracy was a sister of Messrs. I. U. and C. B. White, of this city, and was a very estimable lady whose death will cast a gloom over a large circle of friends. No definite arrangements have yet been made for the funeral, pending the arrival of relatives, but it is expected that it will take place Thursday afternoon from the Methodist Episcopal church, of which she has long been a member.
One very sad feature is the fact that Mr. Tracy is himself in very poor health, having been confined to his home and most of the time to his bed, for the past two weeks. (Brainerd Daily Dispatch, 20 November 1906, p. 3, c. 3)
