Shelley—Mildred Lucille Theobald, 84, of Shelley, died November 26, 1989, at an Idaho Falls nursing home of heart failure.
She was born May 1, 1905 at Richfield, Utah, to George Charlesworth and Lillian Mary Young Charlesworth. She was raised in Richfield and went to school there.
On October 26, 1929 she married Arthur Winnifred Theobald at Fillmore Utah. They moved to Roberts in 1930 where they farmed. They moved to Shelley in 1943 where she was employed as a bookkeeper for an oil company and later as a clerk in a clothing store. Her husband died in 1969.
She was a member of the LDS church.
She survived by one son, Cloy J Theobald of Idaho Falls. Two daughters, Ina Christensen and Wrena Johnson, both of Shelley. 17 great grandchildren and 46 great great grandchildren. Besides her husband she was preceded in death by her two sons. Three brothers and three sisters.
Funeral service will be Thursday at 9 a.m. at the Shelley LDS South Stake Center with Bishop Counselor Jim Hone officiating. The family will meet with friends the day before 7-8 p.m. and on Thursday from 9:30 to 10:40 a.m., both at the Nader mortuary in Shelley. Burial will be held in the rose hill cemetery in Idaho Falls.
