Flora A. Blakney, 94, of West Salem, died Wednesday, March 30, at Richland Memorial Hospital, Olney. She was born January 7, 1894 in Wabash County, the daughter of Charles Ginther and Martha Jane Armstrong. She married Clarence W. Blakney, February 5, 1919. He died April 7, 1968.

Survivors include two nieces, June Jones, Alberquerque, NM and Opal Marks of West Salem; one nephew, Howard Cunningham of Browns; two great nieces, Patricia Weightman of Browns, and Sue Ellen Seals, of Bone Gap. Two brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.

She was a housewife and a member of Zion United Methodist Church in West Salem.

Funeral services were held Friday, at Ingram Funeral Home in West Salem, with the Rev. Chris Tate officiating. Burial was in the Moravian Cemetery.
