BERTHA H. BATEMAN, 77, of Lutz, died Thursday at home. A native of Salem, Mass., she lived in the Tampa Bay area since 1955, coming from Connecticut. She was a retired shoe salesperson. She is survived by three sons, Harry Martin of Zephyrhills, John D. of Tampa and Duane of Temple Terrace; one daughter, Jayne of Tampa; five sisters, Beatrice Hobbs of Gibsonton, Peggy Costello of Miami, and Terry Cormier, Lou Boudoin and Jenny Matthews, all of Massachusetts, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
