Butch Alderman was born in Oneida, Ill. and had moved to Benson 24 years ago. He was a retired butcher having worked in both grocery stores in Benson. He was also a member of the Community Presbyterian Church and a lifetime member of the Lions Club of Benson.
Alderman is survived by his widow, Eunice, a son, Maurice E. of San Leandro, California.; two daughters, Mrs. Elaine Newnham and Mrs. Marcia Drehobl, both of Benson; a brother, Gerald of San Diego, California, and eleven grandchildren.
Pallbearers for the services were Lamar Bingham, William Cathcart, A.S. Collins, Archie Judd, Larry Sipe and Robert Sonnenberg.
Interment was at the Cochise Gardens of Rest under the direction of the Benson Mortuary.
