Mrs. George Ditter Succumbs While Asleep In Bed at the Family Home.
WAS A PIONEER RESIDENT
When George Ditter, a well known and highly- esteemed resident of the Town of Taycheedah tried to awaken his wife this morning when he arose from bed, she failed to respond to his call.
She had died during the night while she slept and according to a physician who was summoned, death was caused by heart failure.
Mrs. Ditter was 72 years of age and was born March 25, 1843 in the Town of Taycheedah her entire life being spent in the same townshIp.
She was married to George Ditter on May 22, 1866. She was the mother of eight children, seven of which are here to attend the funeral. Thet are; John Ditter of Marshdield; Peter and Joseph of Taycheedah; Mrs. T. Cavanaugh of Oak POark, Ill.; Mrs. Herman Engel of the Town of Empire; Mrs. George Kenney of Seattle, Wash.; and Agnes at home.
The funeral will be held Monday morning at 9:30 o'clock from the residence and at 10 o'clock from the St. Peter's church, the Rev. Father Schafer officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
