Funeral service for Eva May Aynes, 78, of Edmond, was Wednesday, 12/24/1986, in the Sowers Memorial chapel with Rev Glen Rooker officiating. She was born 12/31/1907 in Tuttle and passed away 12/22/1986 in Edmond, OK. She attended school at Brushey Creek school & Middleberg school. Mrs Aynes lived most of her life in Tuttle, and moved to Edmond in 1983. She worked for the Tuttle school cafeteria for a number of years, then at Ponca City hospital as a nurse's aide. She retired from the Tuttle Nursing home as a cook and aid. She was a member of the Primitive Baptist church. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters, 4 brothers, and 1 step-son, Carl Aynes of Ohio. She is survived by 3 daughters, Cleta Rooker of Tuttle, Oneta Doubleday of Edmond, & Irene Hulett of Holcomb, MO, 1 son, Raymond Aynes of Oklahoma City, 1 step-daughter, Ruby Roberson of Wewoka, OK, 2 step-sons, Clyde Aynes of Chester, VA, and Erman Aynes of Minneapolis, Minn, 1 sister, Lorene Streeter of Ponca City, and 18 grandchildren. Pallbearers were Keith Aynes, Donald Wynn, Dennis Doubleday, Stanley Rooker, Joe Hulett, & Glen Rooker. Interment was in Fairview cemetery under direction of Sevier funeral home, Tuttle.
