Sarah Carolyn Bolinger, 79, of Route 5, Huntsville, died May 27 at her home. She was born February 20, 1894, at Wharton Creek, the daughter of Greenberry and Matilda Casey Burgess. her husband, Albert Calvin Bolinger, preceded her in death June 30, 1965, and she was a member of the Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include one brother, Oval Burgess of Wichita, Kansas; three sisters, Mrs. Jane Miller and Mrs. Donnie Burke of Huntsville, and Mrs. Annis Hillard, of Seminole, Oklahoma.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 29, at 10:00 a.m. at the Bruce Brashears memorial Chapel with the Reverend Maurice Steele officiating. Burial was in the Wharton Creek Cemetery under the direction of the Brashears Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Jerry Burgess, Vernon Dotson, Fred Burke, Hugh Parson, T. B. Lyman and Virgil Inman.
