Clio Marvin "Shorty" Burris died September 18, 1982 in Junction City. He was born May 30, 1892 in Quincy, IL to Charles Allen and Mattie Francis Burris. He married Nellie Davis in 1917 who preceded him in death in 1932. He was then married to Grace Huston in 1936, she survives. Survivors include sons: Dale, Derrel, Carl and Earl Burris and daughters: Helen Hartung, Eleinor Oxier, Nancy Metz, and Sue Decker.
