COURIER-JOURNAL OBITUARY 07/31/2010.
WALSH, MAURICE C. "MOE," 79, of Louisville, died Thursday, July 29, 2010 at Norton Audubon Hospital with his family by his side. He was born October 7, 1930 in Philadelphia and was retired from Jeffboat and a member of American Legion Post 220. He was an Army veteran of the Korean war. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret; son, Frank; brothers, Edward, Thomas, Francis; and sisters, Marie McHugh and Kay Slater. Survivors include daughters, Cathy Duncan (Pat Riley), Sandy Feeley (Tom), Susan Rosett (Barry) and Jennie Dolgado (Ed); sons, Mike Puffer (Ann), Brian Puffer (Kathy), Wayne Puffer (Lucy), Terry Puffer (Debbie); 23 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; nieces, Kathleen Caufield (Michael), Barbara Kennedy (George), Mary-Beth Plechner (Dave) and Patricia O'Donnell (Denny). Funeral is 11 a.m. Monday at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 6901 Dixie Hwy., with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Sunday and after 9:30 a.m. Monday at Keenan's Funeral Home, 4724 Dixie Hwy. (at Rockford Lane.) In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of his loving wife, Margaret and National Cancer Institute in memory of his son, Frank.
