Stricken suddenly ill while conducting the Masonic rites at the grave of A.H. Pence, at Somerville on Sunday afternoon, W. Raymond McClusky, of 1301 Seventh Avenue south, expired almost immediately.

Mr. McClusky complaned of feeling ill and called upon a brother Mason to conplete the service for him. He staggered backward and despite the efforts of several physicians in the group, he died some ten minutes later just as the Pence funeral was completed.

The body was conveyed to the Priest funeral home and there prepared for burial, later being removed to his late residence.

Deceased was widely known here and death coming as it did, proved a great shock to hundreds of friends throughout this section of the state.

McClusky, of Fayetteville, Tenn; L.N. McClusky of Toney, Ala; and J.W. McClusky, of Decatur; five sisters, Mrs. Odie Bates, Mrs. Price Sharp, Mrs. W.M. Smartt, of Toney; Mrs. Jack Bynum, of Chester, Penn, and Mrs. J.W. Carpenter of Decatur.

The funeral will be conducted at 3:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Willoughby Presbyterian Church by the Rev. G.W. Trying, assisted by several other local ministers.

The Scottish Rite Masons of Chapter Rose Croix will send officers here from Birmingham to conduct the Rose Croix rites after the church service. Interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
