Edna Price Jarvis, 87, of Sparta, passed away Feb. 5, 2002, at White County Community Hospital.
Jarvis was born Aug 11, 1914, in White County, to Buck and Flossie Finley Price.
She was a homemaker.
Jarvis was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Alex Jarvis; one son, Finley Erwin Jarvis; and one sister Ollie Belle Lollar.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Marlin and Connie Jarvis of Havana, Ill.; two grandchildren, Russell William Jarvis of Dallas, Texas and Marlene Suttles of Murrayville, Ill.; two brothers, James Lee Price and Thurman Price both of Sparta; one sister, Mollie McCurley of Detroit, Mich.; and five grandchildren.
Services were held at 11 a.m., Feb 8, 2002, at Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Old Zion Cemetery. David Sauer officiated.
Hunter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangments.
