Jean T. Bowers, 87, formerly of Mechanicsburg, passed away Thursday, at Golden Living Center, Camp Hill.
Born in Wiconisco, Sept. 14, 1923, a daughter of the late Charles and Hattie Antes Zimmerman.
Jean worked for many years at Tallman Farms, Muir.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Roy, July 12, 2011; a son Roy Bowers; a daughter, Judy Klinger, two brothers, Charles and Earl Zimmerman.
Surviving is two sons, Charles Bowers and his wife Cathy, Etters; Mark Ritzman, of Lebanon; two daughters, Dolores Hykes and her husband Ray, of Strinestown; Janet Sheidy and her husband William, of Womelsdorf; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandsons.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, July 30th, 2011, at 11:00 a.m., from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Homes, Inc., Tower City, with Rev. Curtis Zemencik.
Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Muir.
