Jody Stewart, age 64, of Marshall, Arkansas passed from this life on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at Highland Court Resident Care Facility in Marshall. She was born in Lakin, Kansas on May 11, 1947 to Bernard Hilger and Helen (Heiland) Hilger.
Jody attended the Lord's House of Prayer in Marshall. She was formerly employed at Fred's Pharmacy in Marshall. Jody was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.
Her parents and one sister, Mary, precede her in death.
Survivors include her husband of 15 years, Robert Stewart of the home; five sons, Patrick Mason and wife Elizabeth of Lamar, CO, Bruce Stewart and wife Mary of Marshall, AR, Steven Stewart of TX, James Stewart of TX, Scott Libby of CA and Brian Libby of TX; two daughters, Christina Wollert and husband Kelvin of Lamar, CO and Tammy Melgosa and husband Mark of Lamar, CO; nine grandchildren, Ethan & Jarrod Mason, Andrew & Austin Wollert, Matthew & Michael Melgosa, Jessica (Melgosa) and Virginia & Matthew Stewart; one great-grandchild, Ezra; two sisters, Judy Bloyd and husband Steve of Hutchison, KS, Kathy Wellington and husband Bobby of Pueblo, CO; one sister-in-law, Hazel Moon-Okerstrom of CA; three brothers, Carl Hilger and wife Sandra of Lakin, KS, Jerry Hilger of Lakin, KS and Chuck Hilger of CA.
Funeral services for Jody Stewart will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at the Lord's House of Prayer in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Allen Brock officiating. Cremation will follow. Arrangements are by Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas.
