Victor Anderson age 55, was laid to rest yesterday following funeral services held from the Chisago Lake Lutheran church at Center City. Mr. Anderson who farmed one mile north of Lindstrom on North Lake, died between 7:30 and 8 pm. He had been ill with heart trouble for the last year, but was up and around until the time of his demise.
Surviving him are six children, namely Oliver, Mrs. Clyde Simpson (Lucille) of Beverly Hills, California, Mrs. Hugh Bachman (Doris) of Los Angeles, California, June, Evelyn and Glenn of the home farm.
The deceased was born in St Paul, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Louis Anderson on November 20, 1891. He has lived in this community since 1918 after serving in the First World War On June 18, 1919 he married Hildur E Nelson daughter of the late Mr andMrs Oliver Nelson of this community. Officiating at the services was Rev J W Kempe. Pallbearers were: Gustaf Peterson, John Abrahamson, Andrew Lundberg, Leonard Johnson, Walter Nelson, and Elmer Peterson. Interment was at the Chisago Lake Cemetery
