Annie E. Wilkins, age 80, of Red Springs, died on Monday, September 7, 2015, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center, Lumberton, NC.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at 3:00 PM in Collins Chapel United Methodist Church, Lumber Bridge, NC; Rev's Bill James Locklear and Reese Clark, officiating. Burial will follow in Bear Swamp Baptist Church, Pembroke, NC.
Ms. Wilkins was preceded in death by her husband: Lee Wilkins; two sons: Jimmy and Frank Jones; one sister: Margaret Jones. She is survived by two sons: Tommy Jones of Lumber Bridge and Charlie Jones of Red Springs; three daughters: Joyce McMillan and Marie Clark of Shannon and Dorothy Lowry of Red Springs; one brother: Robert "Bud" Locklear of Raeford; one sister: Ella Ree Locklear of Wagram; 17 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren survive her.
