One of eleven children born to Rev. John Thomas and Anna Bishop Singleton. She was married to John H. Weaver who proceeded her in death and the mother of two children. She worked as a beautician for most of her life. Laurine is described as having a beautiful singing voice, often singing at family gatherings. She sang for many years in the choir of Butler Street C.M.E. Church where she was a long time and faithful member. She also served as Supt. of the Sunday School. Laurine Weaver departed this life from cancer in Atlanta on Aug. 26, 1976.
