Katherine Mae Willhoite Watts, 86, died June 24, 2010 at the Terrace Nursing Home in Brea, Orange Co, California. She was born December 23, 1923 in Los Angeles, California, to the late Cooper and Georgia Reynolds Willhoite. She graduated from Wilmore High and the Hager Beauty Academy and was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection. She is survived by her sister, Roberta (Robert) Woodard of Lexington; an aunt, Ruth Johns of Nicholasville; an uncle, Wayne (Helen) Reynolds of Salvisa; and numerous cousins, including two special cousins, Jerri Scott and Grace Stansell. Services were 2 p.m. Monday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Father Johnnie E. Ross officiating. Burial was in the Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation was from noon until time of service on Monday.
