Homer L. Adams
Homer Lester Adams, 77, Olds, died at his residence about 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1, 1978.
He was born April 6, 1901 at Olds, the son of Jace C. and Eva J. Black Adams.
On Dec. 3, 1934 he was married to Ruby E. Messer at Mt. Pleasant.
Mr. Adams worked on the section crew for the railroad and retired in 1962. He was a member of the Olds Congregational Church.
He is survived by his wife; one daughter, Mrs. John(Charlotte) Mitchell, Mt. Pleasant; one son, Donald Adams, Morning Sun; six grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Michael Adams in 1952, a grandson, Michael DeWayne, and a brother, Ralph Adams.
Funeral services will be held at the Olds Congregational Church on Saturday, Nov. 4 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Laurin Detwiler officiating.
Interment will be in Wayne Township Cemetery.
Friends may call as they desire after noon Friday at the Beatty Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant.
Mr. Adams will be taken to the Olds Congregational Church at 10 a.m. Saturday to lie in state until time of services.
