Clarice Warren Dies In Florida
ALDERSON (RNS) — Mrs. Clarice O'Dell Warren of Alderson, 78, died in a Clermont hospital in Clermont, Fla., where she was visiting her son, E. Eugene Warren, at 8:45 p.m. Saturday after a short illness. She was a member of the Greenbrier Baptist Church at Alderson for over 30 years, the Emma Alderson Bible Class, the Sowards Circle, and the Alderson Mothers Club. Mrs. Warren was a daughter of the late John H. and Eva Haynes O'Dell. Other survivors include her husband, E. L. Warren of Alderson; a brother, Guy O'Dell of South Charleston; two sisters, Mrs. Alma O'Deil of South Charleston and Miss Christina O'Dell of Bruce; six daughters, Miss Irene Warren of Clermont, Fla., Mrs. Lillian Walter of Tampa, Fla., Mrs. Elizabeth Williams of Hinton, Mrs. Evelyn Herold, Miss Edith Warren, and Mrs. Mary Ruth Phipps, all of Charleston; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. The funeral will be conducted at 2:30 pm. Wednesday in the Greenbrier Baptist Church with the Rev. Randolph H. Johnson and the Rev. H. U. Thompson in charge. Burial will be in Alderson Cemetery.
