Credited with being the co-founder of Hollywood, California in 1887 with his wife Daeida "Ida" Beveridge Wilcox. He was originally buried in 1891 at Rosedale Cemetery next to his mother, Azubah (Mark) Wilcox. On November 13, 1922 he was removed to Hollywood Memorial Cemetery where he is interred next to his wife Ida. See memorial #2061 for more information.
