William E. Keller, a well-known coal miner of Shelbyville, died at his home on South Second street Saturday night about eight o'clock, after a lingering illness. Mr. Keller was born in Coles County, near Paradise, on July 3, 1855. He had lived in Shelby county for a number of years, being a son of John and Polissa Keller. He is survived by his wife and a number of other relatives. Funeral services were held from the Church of Christ at two o'clock Monday afternoon, with interment in Glenwood Cemetery.
