Son of George Jarvis and Mary Lee Gibbs Pierce. Married to Helen Christine Harmon (1904-1973) on December 2, 1925. He died at 8:45pm. He was buried March 24th, 1940 while a snow storm was going on. On October 2, 1973 after the death of his wife. His body was removed from this cemetery and intered in the Obion County Memorial Gardens and placed beside his wife by his son Dr. Harmon B. Pierce.
