He was the fifth of six siblings. Over the years his first name has been spelled as Everett and Everette; His middle name shown as Manuel & Emanuel.

Everette was married to Hazel Marie Feury on August 7, 1943. They had a daughter, Rachel S. They made their home on Jerry's Run in Alleghany Co, VA

Three years later Everette was ordained as a Baptist minister. He and his father sometimes joined their services conducting church meetings and funerals.

Over the years Everette's name has been mentioned in the newspaper with various ministers conducting funeral services.

Everette died on August 14, 1986. His obituary had been provided by his daughter, Rachel S. (Sizemore) Cluck, which has provided a brief glimpse into his life.

"EVERETTE SIZEMORE
Mr. Everett Manuel Sizemore, 65, of Covington died Thursday (8-14-86) at the Alleghany Regional Hospital following an extended illness.

He was born at Jerry's Run on August 28, 1920, s son of the late Harden H. and Ollie Masters Sizemore.

Mr. Sizemore was a minister in the Baptist Church for 40 years having last served the New Mt. Olive Baptist Church in White Sulphur Springs, W.Va.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Hazel Feury Sizemore, at home; one daughter, Mrs. Rachel Cluck of Covington; two brothers, Charles O. Sizemore of Beckley, W.Va. and Wyatt F. Sizemore of Covington; two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Nelson of Selma and Mrs. Violet Coleman of Covington, and one granddaughter.

Graveside services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday,August 17, at the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Covington with the Rev. Wade L. Sirk officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Shanklin Funeral Home in White Sulphur Springs on Saturday evening from seven to eight-thirty.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Dunlap First Aid Squad."
