Born September 17, 1932, in Florence, she was a daughter of the late Jake Franklin Strickland, Sr. and the late Esther Vause Strickland. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She was a homemaker who loved her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Ryan Elmore; and a sister, Juanita S. Sparrow.
