Lee Roy Deatherage, Jr., age 20, of Tecumseh, passed away, Monday, July 25, 2011 in Weatherford. He was born January 5, 1991 to parents Lee Roy Deatherage Sr. and Colleen Meeks in Ada, Oklahoma.

Lee Roy was a lifelong resident of Tecumseh, attending Tecumseh Schools and graduating from Tecumseh High School with the class of 2009. He loved basketball and enjoyed listening to music.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lee Roy Deatherage, Sr., grandfather, Wesley Meeks and grandparents, Fred and Fayetta Deatherage. He is survived by his mother, Colleen Meeks of Pearson, three brothers, Wesley and Leta Meeks of Shawnee, Jeremy Deatherage of Louisiana and Lucas Deatherage of Tecumseh, grandmother, Mary Meeks, one nephew and three nieces.

Service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 29, 2011 at First Indian Baptist Church with Victor Cope officiating. Burial will follow at Dale Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
