Mrs. Etta Bortles
Mrs. Etta Bortles, 82, a resident of Hillside Home for the past 11 years, died at City Hospital Wednesday, Feb. 10 1971, after a long illness.
She was born in South Shenango Township, Crawford County, Sept. 17, 1888, a daughter of William J. and Mary Elizabeth Miller Nevins.
Mrs. Bortles was a member of the former McGuffintown Evangelical United Bretheren Church.
Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Lottie Seely, and a nephew, Leo Seely, Both of Townville.
Friends may call fron 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Robert Christian, pastor of Cussewago United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be at Greendale Cemetery.
